01Who we are

FlockTrade AS, Org.nr 929 719 824, registered in Bodø, Norway, is the data controller for the personal data described here. We process data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have.

02Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, and the credentials you create, including any linked Google or Discord identity.
• Subscription data: plan, status and billing records. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: how you use the platform, such as panels opened, features used, device and browser information, and approximate location from your IP address.
• Content you create: journal entries, watchlists, settings, and anything you post in community spaces.

03Why we process it

• To provide the platform, your account and the features you use (performance of our contract with you).
• To process subscriptions, payments and renewals (contract and legal obligation).
• To secure the service, prevent abuse and debug issues (our legitimate interest).
• To improve the product and understand how features are used (legitimate interest).
• To send service messages, and, where you have agreed, product updates and newsletters (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

04Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the processors that run the service on our behalf, under data-processing agreements: our payment processor, email and infrastructure providers, analytics, and, where you connect them, third-party identity and community services such as Google and Discord. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

05Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and the platform working, together with optional cookies that help us measure and improve the product. You can control non-essential cookies through the consent banner and your browser settings.

06How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as we need it to meet legal, accounting and security obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

07Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data, where there is no overriding legal reason to keep it.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
• Receive your data in a portable format and lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
